What Is Hickory Hill Realty?

Hickory Hill Realty is the service philosophy behind my business. It’s built on the belief that real estate should feel organized, supported, and manageable—not rushed or stressful. Through structured systems, honest guidance, and consistent communication, Hickory Hill Realty exists to remove overwhelm and replace it with clarity at every stage of your move.

A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Jessica Lowry, a Northern Illinois REALTOR® with RE/MAX of Rock Valley and the founder of Hickory Hill Realty.

In my first 8 months in real estate I ended the year with 15 transactions closed. After the end of my next year in real estate, I more than doubled my sales closing out the year with 34 transactions closed.

My role is simple: to guide you through every step of the real estate process with clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and steady support; so you can make confident decisions without pressure or confusion. Real estate can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make it feel organized, manageable, and even exciting.

As a Northern Illinois Realtor, I combine local market insight with the strength of the RE/MAX brand, while still providing the personal attention and care of a boutique experience. Whether you’re buying your first home, moving up, downsizing, or selling a property you’ve loved for years, you’ll always know what’s happening and what comes next.

When you work with me, you’re never just another transaction. You’re working with someone who values transparency, preparation, and long-term relationships—and who takes the responsibility of guiding your move seriously.

A Little More About Me

Outside of real estate, my life revolves around family and home. I’m happily married to my husband, Zack Lowry, and we’re raising our four daughters here in Northern Illinois. We live on a farm with animals, and we also breed corgis through our family program, Hickory Hill Corgis.

That farm life is a big part of who I am, it’s where I learned the value of hard work, consistency, and caring for what matters most. It’s also why I truly understand that “home” is more than a place, it’s the center of your everyday life.

What You Can Expect Working With Me

  • Clear, consistent communication

  • A plan you can understand and trust

  • Honest guidance and calm support

  • Strategy-backed decisions (not guesswork)

  • A client-first experience from start to finish

If you’re thinking about buying or selling, or you just need clarity on what your next step should be, I’d love to help.

Let’s connect.

I passed my real estate exam in March 2024 and have been working as a REALTOR® ever since, diving headfirst into the business and growing faster than I ever imagined. In such a short amount of time, I’ve learned an incredible amount—about the market, the process, and what it truly means to advocate for clients. RE/MAX of Rock Valley has been an exceptional brokerage to grow within, offering strong training, support, and resources that helped accelerate my development. In my first eight months in real estate, I was honored to receive the 2024 Northern Illinois RE/MAX Region Rookie of the Year award for rapid growth and performance, along with achieving the Executive Club Award in 2024. I closed out my first 8 months in real estate with 15 closed transactions. In my second year, I more than doubled my business, closed out the year with 34 transactions closed and earned the 100% Club Award for my work in 2025; making me one of the top real estate agents in the region. I’m driven, motivated, and fully committed to continuing that momentum, and I’m setting my sights on exceeding every goal I’ve set for 2026.

We began building our rental property portfolio in 2020 with a long-term vision and a hands-on approach, and it has continued to grow and evolve ever since. From the beginning, we focused on making smart purchases, improving properties thoughtfully, and managing them with care—treating each one as both an investment and a home someone would be proud to live in. Over the years, managing our own rentals has given us firsthand experience with everything from renovations and maintenance to tenant relationships and market shifts. That ongoing, real-world experience has shaped how we evaluate properties, manage risk, and spot opportunity, and it continues to influence the way we grow our portfolio today.

Flipping our own 3,800-square-foot home from head to toe was more than a renovation—it was a full-blown education. We gutted the house down to the bones, starting from bare studs and rebuilding it piece by piece with all new wiring and plumbing throughout. There were no shortcuts and no hiding behind cosmetic fixes; every wall opened, every system rethought, and every decision mattered. Living through that process taught me how homes actually work—from what’s behind the drywall to how good (or bad) construction choices affect a house long-term. It gave me a deep respect for quality craftsmanship, smart planning, and doing things the right way the first time. That hands-on experience completely changed how I look at homes, renovations, and value—and it’s knowledge I carry with me into every real estate conversation today.
